Legislative Acvocacy
SMAHU participates annually in a "Day on the Hill" in Lansing to visit with our representatives. We host events throughout the year that provide opportunities to interact with your state and national representatives.
NAHU educates officials on both the federal and state levels about the healthcare systems and the vital role of the health insurance agent. Relationships with key legislators are cultivated, allowing NAHU and its members to clarify issues and positions before bills are written and votes are taken.
